Belle Isle Park Advisory Committee to meet Thursday in Detroit
The Michigan Department of Natural Resources today announced the Belle Isle Park Advisory Committee will meet Thursday, March 17, at the Flynn Pavilion in Detroit. The public meeting will take place from 9 to 11 a.m.
The meeting agenda will include:
- Friends of the Detroit River – Lake Okonoka Project
- Request for support – Band Shell Grant
- General updates, including law enforcement, infrastructure planning and events
- Update from the Belle Isle Conservancy
- Public comments
The Belle Isle Park Advisory Committee advises the state on implementation of improvements, master planning and public safety for Belle Isle Park. For information on the committee and the complete meeting agenda (which will be posted later today), visit www.belleislepark.org.
