Belle Isle Park Advisory Committee to meet Thursday at Belle Isle Casino

The Department of Natural Resources today announced that the Belle Isle Park Advisory Committee will meet from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, at the Belle Isle Casino, 1 Casino Way, Detroit. Agenda items include:

• Update on the Iron Belle Trail.
• General updates, including law enforcement, staffing, infrastructure, summer youth employment and the public survey.
• Report on Senior Power Days, including Jazz on the Isle, Henry Ford Health Fair, exercise and leisure day, and a special Detroit icon concert.
• Update from the Belle Isle Conservancy.
• Public comments.
