Donations Needed for Kids in Foster Care

Four Ways You Can Donate

Thank you for expressing a desire to support children in foster care. There is an ongoing need for donations of clothing, baby items, books, and other kid’s items. You can donate these to your Local Foster Closet. We also recommend the following organizations:

Friends of Foster Kids is a non-profit organization serving Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb County. FOFK expanded its service to lend a hand to those who aged out of foster care at age 20. Friends of Foster Kids accept monetary, itemized, and Christmas wish list donations.
Big Family of Michigan collects and distributes donations throughout the state. One of their unique donation items is birthday kits which include everything needed for a birthday party.
