 RE: *Non-Exclusively Represented Employee (NERE) Employment Preference Plan
         *Update-UAW Preference Plan

The Civil Service Commission approved the MDHHS Non-Exclusively Represented Employee (NERE) Preference Plan.  The NERE preference plan establishes the process used to implement a reduction in force (RIF) which would impact NERE's.

This approved plan essentially replicates the former DHS preference plan and obsoletes the former DCH preference plan.  Listed below is a link to the approved plan.

Please note that UAW covered employees have through midnight on July 15, 2015 to submit bumping preference forms to the designated mailbox in order for those forms to be used in the SSI Advocate abolishment process and the closure of the Maxey facility. As a reminder, the form is DHS 4662, and the mailbox for submission is: DHS-Union-Preference-Form@michigan.gov.
