Check out what last year's attendees had to say:

“GreenUp is a vital event for us. I am convinced – more than ever – of the fundamental importance of Green Chemistry, and the role it can play in Michigan, both economically, and more importantly, for the common good of all.”

“The quality and nuance of the presentations, the substance, the answer to the questions-one of the best panels attended in a while!”

“Overall, presenters were knowledgeable and there was a good mix of industry, education, research, government, and NGO.”

“Events like this inspire by reminding us that even though economic times have been tough, Michigan continues to lead in directions like this that are so critical to our future. Thank you and please keep up the great work.”

2014 Michigan Green Chemistry and Engineering Conference

November 12

 Kellogg Center
Michigan State University
East Lansing

November 11
Pre-GreenUp conference Networking Mixer
MBI, East Lansing

We hope you can join us at the Michigan Biotechnology Institute on Nov 11 for a pre-conference networking mixer. Hors d’oeuvres, Michigan beverages, guided tours, and great conversation will be provided.

There is still time to register for the 2014 Michigan Green Chemistry and Engineering Conference, a fantastic platform to unify business leaders, engineers, chemists, researchers, teachers, and policymakers to move green chemistry and engineering forward in Michigan. This year’s theme is Cultivating Next Generation Solutions, and presenters will be talking about designing, innovating, and manufacturing what’s next by developing less hazardous, more effective materials, processes, and products. Green chemistry and engineering can help businesses create new markets, reduce costs, increase safety, and gain a competitive edge to meet customer needs.

This conference qualifies for 5 Continuing Education Hours (CEHs) for Professional Engineers.
