 Michigan Chapter of the National Brownfield Association to Host Meeting on November 13, 2013 

On November 13, 2013, the Michigan Chapter of the National Brownfield Association (NBA) will be hosting an informational program at the Lansing Center. The agenda will include legislative and policy changes under Act 381, the DEQ Brownfield Grant and Loan Program, Part 201, and the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) Community Revitalization Program.  Topics also being covered include:  new due care developments, vapor intrusion developments, new American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) standards and how these changes affect redevelopment.

Speakers will include representatives of the MEDC, DEQ, and the private sector. The program will start at 9:00 am and run until approximately 3:00 pm with lunch provided.  Registration is expected to open on October 18, 2013. Another notice will be sent out with registration information when it is made available.  The program is $50 for NBA members, $125 for non-members, and $75 for government employees who are non-members.
