EGLE is seeking input from municipalities and other agencies on stormwater infrastructure priorities
The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy's (EGLE) Water Infrastructure Funding and Financing Section, which administers the State Revolving Fund, is raising awareness on how the program can be used to finance stormwater infrastructure projects across the state. EGLE is also seeking to understand what stormwater infrastructure projects communities are prioritizing so we can best support these needs.
The State Revolving Fund is a tool that can be utilized by municipalities to finance stormwater infrastructure projects including a range of categories such as traditional stormwater infrastructure (pipes), green infrastructure, ecosystem protection and restoration, stormwater treatment and storage, erosion and sediment control, and agricultural best management practices to protect surface or ground water.
Please complete this survey if you represent a municipality, planning agency, watershed management agency, or drain commissioner. The survey is intended for those entities that are eligible for funds under SRF legislation.
