Emissions reporting in MiEnviro Portal
The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy’s (EGLE), Air Quality Division (AQD) continues to move toward a comprehensive online system called MIEnviro Portal (MiEnviro) to centralize forms and data collected on paper or in multiple other databases. Once complete, MiEnviro will provide one place for users to work with the AQD on permitting, compliance reporting, notification submissions and completing air emissions reports.
How to prepare for reporting your 2023 emissions
In January 2024, the 2023 air emissions will be reported in the MiEnviro system. As we get closer to emissions reporting season, there are actions you will need to take prior to submitting your official report. Below is a timeline of significant steps to help you prepare, including training opportunities starting in August 2023 with the Account Creation webinar.

Who should attend the Account Creation Webinar?
Anyone who reports or submits emissions data needs to have an account created in MiEnviro Portal should attend this training. All sources that previously reported their air emissions using the MAERS system will need to create an account in the MiEnviro System. This includes all Primary Preparers, Secondary Preparers, Consultants and Reviewers in the former emissions reporting system.
A recording of this webinar will be posted on the AQD’s emission reporting website. Everyone who registers will get a follow up email following the webinar with a direct link to the recording.
