Register today for Annual Fall Radon Training this November!
Join the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy's (EGLE) Indoor Radon Program for our Annual Fall Radon Training Event where attendees will obtain valuable information on radon and its impact on public health.
Offered in two locations:
November 8 - Treetops Resort, Gaylord
November 29 - Lansing Community College West, Lansing
This annual training event is designed for local health departments, tribal governments, and radon service professionals to increase radon awareness in the following areas:
- Learn about natural sources of radon in Michigan geology.
- Receive lung health information from respected medical professionals.
- Hear personal lung cancer survival stories and learn about radon advocacy.
- Learn radon measurement basics and mitigation techniques.
- Obtain important program updates from the Indoor Radon Program.
- Network with other radon outreach partners.
This Conference will provide Continuing Education Hours (CEH)/Professional Development Hours (PDH).
