Michigan PFAS Action Response Team to update Oscoda residents on PFAS investigation
The Michigan PFAS Action Response Team (MPART) will provide an update on the continuing investigation and actions to address PFAS contamination near the former Wurtsmith Air Force Base and Oscoda area sites on Wednesday, March 2, 2022.
MPART representatives from the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) will host the virtual community meeting on March 2, 2022 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Topics include brief updates on the status of the Remedial Investigation and two Interim Remedial Actions at the former Wurtsmith Air Force Base, and updates on quarterly private residential well sampling at the Oscoda area sites.

After the presentations, there will be an opportunity for attendees to ask questions.
