Spartan Chemical Company site restoration activities to resume on May 17, 2021
Beginning Monday, May 17, 2021, work crews will be back on site at the Spartan Chemical Superfund Site in Wyoming, Michigan to complete site restoration activities related to the Excavation Pilot Study that took place between October 2020 and January 2021. Onsite activities will include finishing site grading to allow for proper stormwater drainage, placing clean topsoil and grass seed in disturbed areas onsite, and placing a new fence along the eastern property line bordering The Potter’s House High School soccer field. Site restoration activities are anticipated to be completed within 2 weeks from the time they begin.
