RACER Lansing Plants 2 & 3 Public Meeting
1,4-Dioxane Proposed Remediation

Who: Staff members from the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) are hosting a public informational session as part of the remediation of 1,4-dioxane in groundwater on the Revitalizing Auto Communities Environmental Response (RACER) Trust, Lansing Plants 2 & 3 properties, located at the corner of West Saginaw Highway and North Rosemary Street.

What: Staff from the MDEQ and ARCADIS, the consultant for the RACER Trust, will each speak on the current status and next steps regarding legacy groundwater contamination in the drinking water well head protection area for Lansing Township and the city of Lansing. Following the presentations, staff from MDEQ and ARCADIS will be happy to respond to questions and provide more information and clarification when possible.
