Dearborn Public Meeting – Invitation and Agenda

DATE: July 11, 2018

TIME: 5:30 PM

WHERE: Salina Intermediate School, 2623 Salina Street, Dearborn, MI 48120

WHAT: The Michigan Department of Environmental Quality, Air Quality Division, would like to invite the Dearborn community to a Public Meeting to discuss air quality issues. The Public Meeting is being hosted by the Air Quality Division with Representative Abdullah Hammoud giving a welcome to the community. 

WHY: The purpose of this meeting is to give community members the chance to ask questions and get answers from the Air Quality staff. This is also an opportunity to learn more about the Air Monitor located at the Salina Elementary School and take a tour of the monitor.

 

We hope to see the Dearborn community well represented.

5:30PM – 6:30PM

Open House

Meet one-on-one with MDEQ, Air Quality Division staff. Feel free to ask questions, get materials to look at later, or take a look at the air monitoring station located at Salina Elementary School.

6:30PM – 6:35PM

Welcome!

6:35PM – 7:00PM

Informational Session

MDEQ staff will give short presentations on what the Air Quality Division does and how we work with the community.

7:00PM – 8:00PM

Public Question and Answer – Panel Discussion

Following the presentations, time will be available for attendees to ask the Air Quality Division staff panel questions. The panel will respond to your questions and provide more information and clarification when possible.
