Underground Storage Tank Deadline Extended!
At its meeting on January 19, 2016, the Michigan Underground Storage Tank Authority (Authority) Board of Directors extended the deadline for owners and operators to buy-down their Underground Storage Tank Cleanup Fund deductible from $50,000 per claim to $15,000 per claim for calendar year 2016 to March 31, 2016. This option is available to owners and operators and their affiliates who own 7 or fewer refined petroleum USTs. The previous deadline was January 31, 2016.
