fake flyer

False information is making the rounds about a vaccination clinic for 50 Deaf individuals this Friday, April 9, at Ford Field in Detroit. This information is false! The Ford Field vaccination site welcomes individuals who are deaf every day, and ASL interpreters are available on site for anyone who requests their services.

If you receive the blue flyer above, please do not circulate or contact the number provided.

If you want to sign up for a vaccine, you should:

  • To register for the Regional Community Vaccination Site at Ford Field in Detroit, visit https://clinic.meijer.com/register/CL2021 or text EndCOVID to 75049
  • Check the website of your local health department or hospital to find out their process or for registration forms;
  • Check additional vaccination sites, such as local pharmacies like Meijer, Kroger, Rite Aid, CVSWalmart (Mid/Central and Northern Michigan) and Snyder Drugs (U.P. residents);
  • To register for the West Michigan Vaccine Clinic at DeVos Place in Grand Rapids, visit West Michigan Vaccine Clinic (spectrumhealth.org)
  • Residents who don’t have access to the internet or who need assistance navigating the vaccine scheduling process can call the COVID-19 Hotline at 888-535-6136 (press 1) Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., or call 2-1-1 (press 5).
