The Michigan Craft Beverage Crop Directory has amassed more than 50 farms with products available for brewers, distillers, and wine and cider makers. Search the directory for botanicals, wine grapes, hops, apples, stone fruits, and berries. Crops are searchable by variety (including apples and wine grapes), location, and more! Meijer invites Michigan food and beverage businesses interested in learning how to become a vendor to its Market Format stores*, to a first-of-its-kind event providing comprehensive resources to educate and prepare suppliers for grocery/retail opportunities. The Stairway to Success Summit: Vendor Masterclass by Meijer Market Format will be held in Detroit on Sept. 19. Presentations will include:

Lakeshore Environmental Inc. (LEI) is performing a craft beverage wastewater characterization study that aims to evaluate wastewater analytical results for the entire craft beverage industry (beer, wine, spirits, and hard cider). LEI will develop a database of wastewater information which could inform better practices and permitting for the industry. The following survey requests basic site information and your willingness to participate in a wastewater study at your facility at no cost.Your facility information will remain confidential as the results and findings will be generalized for the industry. The Michigan Wine Collaborative (MWC) was granted the MDARD / USDA Specialty Crop Block Grant for 2021-2022 to enhance the competitiveness of Michigan Grape and Wine Producers. As part of this initiative, the MWC must gather data on a specific outcome indicator, which assesses the variation in Wine Grape Sales between the baseline year of 2021 and 2022.
