MI School Data Updates

Michigan Graduation/Dropout Rates for 2022-23 were released on Friday, Feb. 23. Michigan’s statewide high school graduation rate increased for the second year in a row. This is the second highest graduation rate since CEPI began calculating cohort rates in 2007.

The 2023 four-year graduation rate was 81.77%, an increase of 0.76 from the prior year. Graduation rates also increased in all 17 tracked subgroup categories. The four-year dropout rate fell slightly to 8.13%.
