System Maintenance: CEPI Applications and MI School Data

CEPI applications and MI School Data will be intermittently offline for maintenance on Sunday, July 3 from 6 a.m. to noon EDT. Only limited informational inquires will be available during this time.

SID Collection Deadline: June 30

The 2022 SID Collection is due to CEPI by 11:59 p.m. on June 30. The collection is considered completed when all buildings have the green check mark status, indicating that all fields are complete for each building.

REP Collection Deadline: June 30

The deadline for reporting all employed and contracted individuals in the EOY 2022 REP Collection is 11:59 p.m. on June 30.

Reminders:

  • Police Officer and Public Safety Positions: School resource officers are sworn-in law enforcement by definition and would be reported with a Police Officer assignment code (90900). For all other public safety type positions, please use the Security Guard (92600) and Public Safety Programs (92350) assignment codes.
  • Mental Health Professionals: Use the proper Student Support Services Staff assignment code (89004) for Mental Health professionals to show the resources available to support students.
  • Assignment Codes and Educator Effectiveness Evaluation Labels: Inaccuracies in either field may result in your teachers' inability to advance their teaching certificate. Ensure all staff employed or contracted by your district are reported. To review your district's submission, use the Educator Effectiveness Summary report and/or download the REP Data File. Follow the instructions in the REP Report User Guide.
  • Vacancies: For Field 12: Funded Position Status, use Code 1 to report all Vacant, Funded, Open Positions with No One Assigned. Use Code 3 to report all assignments when the employee is on Loan/Leave and No One Assigned to the position. Use Code 5 for Vacant, Funded Assignments with a Temporary Employee filling the position. For a full list of Funded Position Status Codes, see the REP Data Field Descriptions.

The REP web page has helpful resources to assist in completing the submission.

REP/TSDL Office Hours and Guidance

Office Hours: With the REP and TSDL deadlines approaching, CEPI is offering drop-in style office hours to give users dedicated time with the collection experts to address specific questions.

Sessions will be from 11 a.m. to Noon on June 21, June 28, July 12 and July 26.

TSDL/REP alignment of course and assignment reporting: Many data quality issues are tied to the PIC reporting alignment with REP and local consistency of reporting course level data. Please review CEPI's Best Practices for REP and TSDL Course Reporting to prevent future data quality issues.
