System Maintenance: CEPI Applications and MI School Data

CEPI applications and MI School Data will be intermittently offline for maintenance on Sunday, July 3 from 6 a.m. to noon EDT. Only limited informational inquires will be available during this time.

Tuition and Fees 2022-23 Collection Opens July 1

The Tuition and Fees Collection within the MPDI application opens on July 1 for the collection of 2022-23 community college tuition and fees data. These data are due to CEPI by Aug. 31.

Support materials are available on the MPDI web page. 

CEPI Postsecondary Training Conference

The CEPI postsecondary team will host a two day virtual training conference on July 11 and 12. This training conference will cover important topics such as the new CSV to XML Conversion Tool and collection updates. All IHE stakeholders are encouraged to attend both of the planned half-day sessions. Invitations and registration links were sent by email on June 14. Below is the full agenda:

Day One: July 11, 9 a.m. - Noon

  • Educational Entity Master Overview
  • MI School Data Overview
  • IHE Request for UIC Overview
  • Live Questions and Answers

Are Your EEM Records Up to Date?

Colleges and universities should review the information in the Educational Entity Master to ensure it is accurate and up-to-date. Contact information in EEM is used for important communications, and all entities should ensure they have the following contacts listed: Chancellor, Chief Financial Officer, Dean, Director of Institutional Research, MPDI Data Coordinator, President, Provost and Registrar. Please make any appropriate updates by June 30.

Removal of 2020-21 School Year Data in STARR

CEPI will remove 2020-21 STARR data from the MSDS STARR staging area in preparation for the 2021-22 STARR Collection. If you wish to retain any data from the 2020-21 school year, be sure to download and save your collection and reports by July 27. After this date, users will no longer have access to staging areas or reports in MSDS for that school year. Data for the 2020-21 school year will continue to be available from the MI School Data website.
