Based on information shared at a recent information session, CEPI and MDE would like to clarify TSDL reporting requirements in MSDS for CTE Early Middle College students:
- Please report all CTE-specific courses in CTEIS.
- All non-CTE general ed. or non-CTE dual enrollment courses should be reported in TSDL.
- If your district decides not to report certain CTE courses in CTEIS, then they must be reported in TSDL.
- Although not required, if your district wishes to report CTE courses in both CTEIS and TSDL, CEPI will filter out duplicate courses for reporting purposes.
The Budgetary Assumptions Collections opens in the Financial Information Database on May 31. The Michigan Department of Treasury will be contacting districts soon to inform them if they are required to report. Districts required to report will have until 11:59 p.m. EDT July 7, 2022 to complete their submissions.
Support material is posted on the FID web page where you can find the Budgetary Assumptions User Guide. For questions about submitting data in FID, contact CEPI customer support (cepi@michigan.gov). For program and policy questions, contact Samuel Irrer with Treasury (irrers4@michigan.gov).
REP reporting requirements apply to all Early On program staff. It is important to include all contracted as well as directly employed personnel. If an individual provides services across K-12 and Early On, additional Field 10 assignments should be added to reflect all K-12 grades or educational settings served and the Early On educational setting. For assistance in adding assignments, please see guidance regarding Field 10 in the REP User Guide and the REP Data Field Manual.
