Spring MSDS General Collection Opens Today
The Spring 2021 MSDS General Collection opens today. Important dates:
- Feb. 10: Spring supplemental count date
- March 4: Data quality checks performed on data submitted before this date
- March 17: Certification deadline
- March 24: Corrections must be complete and data recertified by 11:59 p.m.
Spring 2021 Early Childhood Collection Close Reminder
Feb. 10 – Spring 2021 MSDS Early Childhood Collection certification deadline. Records must be certified by 11:59 p.m.
Re-confirmed Extended COVID-19 Learning Plans, as required by Public Act 165 of 2020, are due Friday, Feb. 5 and can be submitted in MDE’s GEMS-MARS through the Learning Plan Monthly Questionnaire link. In this submission, districts must report what type of instruction they plan to provide to students for the month of February. If there were no changes, districts must confirm that no changes were made to their plan.
Note: starting this month, the Guest login option has been removed. All users must sign-in with a MEIS account to submit their responses. If you do not have an account, you may request one through the Create a New MEIS Account page.
