The State of Michigan government offices, including CEPI, will be closed for the holidays on the following dates:
- Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2019
- Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2019
- Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2019
- Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2020
MILogin maintenance will occur the evening of Sunday, Dec. 22. CEPI systems will be intermittently inaccessible from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m. the following day.
The MDE Office of Educational Assessment and Accountability will pre-identify students for the SAT, PSAT, WorkKeys and M-STEP Spring 2020 assessments in the OEAA Secure Site on Wednesday, Jan. 8.
OEAA will use records from the Fall 2019 MSDS General Collection and SRM records certified by 5 p.m. on Jan. 3. This one-time pull will include students in grades 3–11 and some required grade 12 students based on certain conditions. Students who are newly enrolled or identified after this date must be pre-identified by districts directly in the OEAA Secure Site.
In early 2020, SID will migrate from Michigan Education Information System to MILogin. This will provide enhanced single sign-on capabilities and meet other business requirements, security, and compliance needs. SID users will receive detailed information in the coming weeks.
What changes should I expect?
Authorized users will log in to MILogin to access SID.
How can I prepare for the migration?
CEPI is working with the MILogin team to automatically subscribe users who currently have SID access and an existing MILogin account (matching first name, last name and email address between MEIS and MILogin). Please confirm that your contact information is up to date.
- For MEIS, log in, make appropriate updates, and then click “Update.”
- For MILogin (if you have an existing MILogin account), log in and click “Update Profile.” Please do not create another MILogin account if you already have one.
