CEPI has updated the calendar of events to reflect collection activities through the end of the 2018-19 school year.
MSDS Spring Early Childhood Collection Now Available
The MSDS Spring 2019 Early Childhood Collection is available beginning Dec. 5.
Important Dates:
- Nov. 1, 2018 through Feb. 6, 2019: Reporting period
- Jan. 30, 2019: Mid-collection data quality snapshot (tentative)
- Feb. 13, 2019: Certification deadline
MSDS Spring General Schema Posted
The MSDS Spring 2019 General Collection schema and a file sample have been posted to the MSDS website.
Two new characteristics have been added to the General Collection schema:
- Eligibility Reason: Required when submitting the Early On component
- Building Otherwise Attended: Optional field in the School Demographics component
The business rule spreadsheets contain the updated information. We are revising the Collections Details Manual and will send out a communication once it is published.
MSDS Student Roster Report Updated
The Student Roster Report (found under the Certified Data Reports menu) provides a list of students who are enrolled or have exited your school district. Effective Dec. 4, the following changes have been made:
- The report is now a "year-to-date" report instead of a collection-based report. Districts can now see a list of students who were enrolled or exited throughout the school year. The report is updated immediately upon SRM certification or when the General Collection closeout process is completed.
- Districts can now identify foster care and military connected students in the "School Year Flags" columns.
