The Michigan Student Data System (MSDS) will be
offline beginning at 12:01 a.m. EDT on Thurs., April 12 until
approximately noon EDT on Mon., April 16. During this
maintenance window, we will perform the Spring 2018 General
Collection closeout process, including updating PEPE and cohort information.
Once the system is back online, the Spring 2018 DS4061s will be available for
editing by ISD auditors.
Due to collection updates, the MSDS End of Program (EOP) 2018 Early Childhood (EC) Collection will open within the next week.
Important Dates:
- Reporting Period: Feb. 10
through Aug. 9
- Mid-collection data quality
snapshot: Aug. 2 (tentative)
- Certification Deadline:

Eligibility

2018 EC Collection for all children served in a Great Start Readiness Program
(GSRP) or GSRP/Head Start Blend program during the 2017-18 program year. This

Michigan
had another exciting year in 2017 with the Race to the Top Early Learning
Challenge Grant (RTT-ELC). MDE and its RTT-ELC partners, including CEPI, made
great strides toward the goal of improving access to high quality early
learning and development programs statewide. Some highlights can be found on
the MDE's Race to the Top Early Learning Challenge
Grant web page, under Year
2017 APR Highlights.
As
part of our new quarterly training series, CEPI invites you to a free training event hosted
at Wayland Union Schools on Wednesday, May 16 from noon to 4 p.m. EDT. Information about
this training is available in the registration form.
The
first eighty registrants will be confirmed as attendees. CEPI will send a
final confirmation email to attendees by April 11 to formally invite them
to the event.
From preschool through postsecondary, CEPI transforms
educational data into powerful information. Follow us on Facebook or Twitter for the latest news on
