The graduation rate appeals window in the
Michigan Student Data System (MSDS) will close at 11:59 p.m. EDT on Wednesday,
September 14. This is your final opportunity to
review and correct the data used to calculate your graduation rate.
During this window, you may submit cohort
change requests to correct a student's cohort year or cohort status. For more
information on when a cohort change request is appropriate, please review this reminder for the Graduate Rate Appeals
Window.
The MSDS is scheduled to be offline from 12:01
a.m. on Thursday, September 15 through approximately noon on Monday,
September 19, for the system rollover for the 2016-17 school year.
After the MSDS has rolled over to the 2016-17 school year,
Section 23a claims for each month must be certified in the SRM Collection no
later than 30
calendar days after the end of that month.
Claims for July 2016 must be certified in the 2015-16 SRM
Collection no later than 11:59 p.m. EDT on September 14, 2016. After this date,
claims for July 2016 will no longer be accepted. Claims for August 2016 may be
submitted in either the 2015-16 or 2016-17 SRM Collections. However, they must
be certified no later than September 30 (30 days after the end of
August).
