MSDS EOY General and
SRM Collections Closing 6/30
The Michigan Student Data System (MSDS) EOY 2015
General Collection will close at 11:59 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, June 30, 2015.
The certification status for your district's collection must be "Written
to Queue – Available for Certification," "Processing
Certification" or "Certified" by this deadline. Your staging area must be error-free and you must successfully complete
the Quality Review process before the system will allow you to certify.
This is your district's final opportunity to
report student enrollments and exits, make adjustments to student demographic
data, and report student attendance for the 2014-15 school year. Please pay
special attention to program eligibility or participation data,
including LEP exits, special education discipline, initial IEPs,
McKinney-Vento, 31a eligibility, and supplemental nutrition eligibility.
The 2014-15
SRM Collection also closes on June 30 and will reopen on July 20 for the
submission of Section 23a claims and exit status changes
for the Graduation Rate Appeals Window.
REP Submission
Deadline Reminder
The EOY 2015 Registry of Educational Personnel (REP) deadline is
11:59 p.m. EDT, June 30, 2015. Be sure to check your Personnel Submitted
reports in REP to ensure that all of your records have been updated and that
all of your new employees have been properly reported. When all current
employee records have green check marks and all new staff member records have
been submitted and have green check marks, the submission is complete.
SID Submission
Deadline Reminder
The EOY 2015 School Infrastructure Database (SID) deadline is
11:59 p.m. EDT, June 30, 2015. All schools/facilities that have been
successfully submitted will show green check marks to the right of the
school/facility name under the heading "Status" on the SID Main Menu.
When a school/facility indicates a red "X," there are still fields
yet to be updated on the submission screen. When all of the schools/facilities
in the district have a green check mark, the submission is complete. All
successfully submitted records will show green check marks next to the incident
numbers and dual enrollment information.
MSDS 2014-15 TSDL Collection
The Teacher-Student Data Link (TSDL) Collection remains open through July 29, 2015. While districts have the ability to
submit course data and final grades at any time prior to the certification
deadline, all records must be certified
by July 29, 2015 at 11:59 p.m. EDT.
As a
reminder, all migrant-eligible students taking high school courses must be
submitted within 10 days of enrolling or exiting the district. This requirement
also applies to migrant students taking CTE high school courses.
Reminder from MDE: SE-4107 Certification
The following message is being sent to SE-4094 users on behalf
of the Michigan Department of Education, Office of Special Education and Early
Intervention Services.
This is a reminder that all districts using and reporting black
and yellow buses on their SE-4107 School Bus Inventory must certify the
inventory on an annual basis prior to June 30 of each year. The certified
inventory is one of the data requirements for reporting costs on the upcoming
2014-15 SE-4094 Transportation Expenditure Report. Click here for
instructions to certify the inventory from the School Bus Inventory System.
