Art Reception
Art from the Hood. Join us at the Ann Arbor Senior Center Friday, Jan. 9 from 6-8p.m. for an artists reception featuring art from the Burns Park neighborhood. Exhibit runs Jan. 9-Feb. 17 featuring mixed media, clay tiles and digital printing. $5 admission fee. 1320 Baldwin Ave. 734.794.6250.

Veterans Memorial Park Winter Wonderland

Dive-in Movie
Join us to see "Guardians of the Galaxy" poolside at our January Dive-in Movie at Mack Indoor Pool. Monday, Jan. 19 at 7 p.m.  Bring your own inner tube and float in the pool as youenjoy a family-friendly movie. Admission is $5 for adults and $4 for children and seniors; ages three and under free with a paid adult. Mack Indoor Pool Saturday Splash Day. 1:30-4:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 17. Join us for a fun-filled volunteer opportunity leading games and activities for kids both in and out of the water at Mack Indoor Pool. Set up and take-down times are included, and not all volunteers will need to know how to swim. We are looking for people who are comfortable interacting with children and the public. New Junior Volunteer Club. Join us Friday, Jan. 23 from 4-5 p.m. Calling all youth between the ages of 10-15 to come and learn about ways to give back, gain work-like experiences and have fun in your community. This club is facilitated by GIVE365 staff with the objective of engaging you, our younger citizens, to volunteer and experience the joy of giving back. ARC Swim Lessons
American Red Cross Swim Lessons at Mack Indoor Pool. Group lessons are offered for children ages 6 months through adult beginners. Lessons start are $45 for residents/$55 for nonresidents.  Sessions G/I are offered Monday and Wednesday and sessions H/J are offered on Tuesday and Thursday. Cancelled lessons will be made up on the Friday of the week of the cancelled class.
