Thank you for subscribing to receive road or lane closure notifications from the City of Ann Arbor. Please note the following new information: 

 

10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 11 to 1 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2025

From 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 11 to 1 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2025, the following street will be closed for the UA Block special event:

  • South Main Street between William Street and Liberty Street

 

2025 Student Move In/Out traffic and parking changes

From 6 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19 until 11 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 24, 2025, changes to traffic patterns, bagging of meters and parking on the following streets will be in place for University of Michigan student move in/out:

  • Thompson - one way southbound from East Jefferson to Packard - meters bagged
  • East Madison - one way eastbound from Packard to South State - meters bagged
  • Observatory - one way southbound from East Ann to Geddes - meters bagged
  • East Washington - one way westbound from Fletcher to Thayer - meters bagged
  • Maynard - from East Jefferson to East William - meters bagged
  • East University between Hill and Willard - meters bagged
  • Church Street between Hill and Willard - meters bagged
  • North University Court - meters bagged
  • Washington Heights - closed from Observatory to E. Medical Center Drive - meters bagged
  • East Ann - one-way eastbound from Zina Pitcher Place to Observatory - meters bagged
