The Maine Immunization Program is seeking nominations for the 2026 AIM Immunization Champion Award.
This annual award is hosted by the Association of Immunization Managers (AIM) and recognizes individuals who demonstrate immunization leadership, collaboration, innovation, and/or advocacy in their community.
Eligible nominees may include:
Health care professionals (i.e., pharmacists, physicians, nurses, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, medical assistants) • Nonprofit leaders • Community activists • Parents • School and education leaders • Coalition members • Community-based organization members • Immunization partners

To support providers during the transition, MIP will host Expanded Immunization Program Office Hours every other Thursday at 12:00 pm, beginning June 25. Office Hours provides an opportunity to learn about program updates and ask questions about the transition.
All current COVID-19 vaccines will remain available for order until the 2026-2027 new formulation of COVID-19 vaccines become available, which is anticipated to be early Fall 2026.
Additional information about the 2026-2027 COVID-19 vaccine formulation and ordering timeline will be shared when it becomes available.
Please ensure all flu inventory is up to date and stored at appropriate temperatures until expiration date.
After June 30, 2026, please ensure that the vaccine has been removed from your storage unit and returned to McKesson.
