Drinking Water Week
May 4-10, 2025
Drinking Water Week is a nationwide initiative focused on raising awareness about the vital role safe, reliable drinking water plays in our lives and communities. The week encourages Water providers, from the smallest very small water system to the largest water utility, to use this opportunity to connect with their consumers, so people can learn more about the water they use daily, its source, and the efforts involved in ensuring its safety and accessibility. | ![]() |
It also serves as a time to appreciate Maine's water professionals and recognize the importance of the work they do.
