When you applied for MaineCare, you provided your email address to the Department of Health and Human Services as a way to contact you. MaineCare Services has added you to the email list for MaineCare members. We will send you an email if we update our resources, make changes to benefits or services, or if we have other information to share. We may also ask your opinion about your health care services or notify you about opportunities available to you.
We are choosing a new name for the Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnosis, and Treatment (EPSDT) program and we’d like your opinion. Please help us choose a new program name by completing this short survey by Monday December 2, 2024.
MaineCare’s EPSDT program can pay for medically necessary services or equipment for children and youth under the age of 21 that are not normally covered by MaineCare. The program can cover a wide range of preventive, dental, developmental, behavioral health, and specialty services.
The goal is to choose a program name that is more memorable and represents the EPSDT program goals of early screening, diagnosis, and access to treatment services for children and youth under age 21.
