Data Logger Upgrade

Great news! The Maine Immunization Program will be upgrading our data loggers for enrolled provider offices with cloud based capabilities.

Primary and secondary vaccine coordinators were sent email communication this week with a request to complete a brief survey regarding data logger needs to help us as we prepare to upgrade.

We ask that you please complete this survey no later than Wednesday, April 24, 2024.

We appreciate your timely response!

We have received several questions from providers regarding the data loggers. We will be creating an FAQ document to address these questions and will send it out to providers early next week.

Vaccine Labels Storage and Beyond-Use Date Tracking Labels

Proper storage and handling practices play a very important role in the safety and efficacy of vaccines to protect individuals and communities from vaccine-preventable diseases.  These storage labels are available to help staff organize and easily identify vaccines.

Bridge Access Program (BAP) COVID-19 Vaccine

MIP still has an ample supply of COVID-19 vaccine available for adults 19 years and older who are uninsured or underinsured.

Enrollment into the BAP is open to all providers. BAP providers are required to provide BAP COVID-19 vaccines to eligible patients (under-and uninsured adults, 19 years and older) at no cost, which includes administration fees. However, MIP has a program to reimburse BAP providers for administration fees at a rate of $100 per vaccination.

Please Note: We are increasing the reimbursement rate from $50 to $100. This will be retroactive, so providers will receive the $100 for every dose administered since the start of the BAP.

If interested, please reach out to MIP for information on how to enroll: MEAdultVaccine@maine.gov.
