This notification is to remind providers of the process for returning EcoFlex coolers that vaccine is delivered in.
Once coolers have been unpacked, please follow the process outlined in the illustrations below. Providers must ship the coolers back to the vendor, Cold Chain Technologies, where they will be inspected, cleaned and refurbished for re-use. Once this is done, a prepaid UPS return label will be included on the inner flap of each EcoFlex cooler shipped.
Providers should return the coolers via UPS on their next delivery day. Providers do not need to schedule a pick-up if they have a regular UPS delivery. Due to the increased cost of vaccine shipping materials, the return of the cooler is critical to the success of this process.
