The current supply of Novavax COVID-19 vaccine is set to expire on April 30, 2023; therefore, the CDC will shut off new ordering on March 31, 2023. Novavax will be resupplying the market with up to an additional 1.25 million doses in the new 5-dose vial presentation. This new lot is expected to be delivered to the McKesson depots on April 5, 2023. This will cause an expected week of no new ordering of Novavax COVID-19 vaccine. Unfortunately, moving to the 5-dose vial presentation made this supply disruption unavoidable.
The new lot will have an expiration date of October 31, 2023. The new NDC # is 80631-102-01.
