Update Your Contact Information to Avoid Losing MaineCare Coverage

Is your contact information up to date?

Over the next year, the Office for Family Independence may be sending you a renewal letter with a blue block on the envelope. If your address and phone number are not up to date in our system and we are not able to reach you, you may lose your MaineCare coverage.

How do I update my contact information?

There are two ways you can update your contact information, by phone and online.

By Phone:

Call 1-855-797-4357 to update your contact information. You won’t have to wait on hold! Press 1 to select the option to update your address, email, and phone number through the automated line. You will need the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number (SSN) and your date of birth. If you don’t have your SSN available, or you want to talk to a live person, you can also wait to speak to a customer service representative.

Online:

To update your phone number, address, or email address, visit My Maine Connection at: www.mymaineconnection.gov. 

How do I set up a My Maine Connection account?

If you don’t have an account, click the “Sign Up” link on the homepage to create one (see the picture below). To access all My Maine Connection features, the person who submitted the application for the household will need to create the account. 

How do I update my contact information in My Maine Connection? 

Follow the steps below to update your contact information in My Maine Connection. 

1. Sign into My Maine Connection.

2. Select the “Report a Change” button.

3. Select the “Change Information for Current Members” and the “Continue” buttons. See the image below for details.

4. Next, select “Contact Information” and follow the prompts to update your information.
