Single Dose Vial (Bivalent) Pfizer-BioNTech COVID- 19 Vaccine for 12 Years and Older
The Maine Immunization Program has opened ordering to all providers for the updated (bivalent) Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine for people 12 years of age or older in single-dose vials.
Providers should plan to prioritize the single dose vials for situations when a multi-dose vial would not be appropriate - such as vaccinating only one or two patients. Single dose vials should not be used for vaccination clinics or when multiple people are seeking vaccination at or around the same time.

Bivalent Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine for children aged 6 months through 4 years and bivalent Moderna vaccine for children aged 6 months through 5 years
As a reminder, pre-ordering for the bivalent Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine for children aged 6 months through 4 years and bivalent Moderna vaccine for children aged 6 months through 5 years must be done prior to Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at 9:00 AM.
