Subject: Flucelvax Influenza Vaccine Now Available

The Maine Immunization Program is pleased to announce that we now have Flucelvax influenza vaccine available to order. Due to the limited supply available, providers may place a maximum order of 20 doses only.
Flucelvax is a cell-based flu vaccine and is not dependent on the supply of eggs for production, therefore, we ask that only providers with patients that have a true egg allergy, order this vaccine.
The Flucelvax may be given to children aged 6 months -18 years of age (due to funding source restrictions).
