Attached is Maine's monthly influenza surveillance report for MMWR weeks 27-30, ending July 30, 2022.

Monthly reports will be sent the first Tuesday of each month through the summer.

As a reminder, influenza can still circulate during the summer months. Due to the inaccuracy of the rapid influenza tests during the off-season, and the increased risk of novel influenza A viruses from agriculture and swine exposure, please send suspect influenza specimens to Maine Health and Environmental Testing Laboratory (HETL) for confirmation.
