You are receiving this message because you are subscribed to an e-message topic list that will be discontinued.

On February 14, 2022, we will begin sending e-messages on new topic lists. We are redesigning our stakeholder e-messaging service to ensure that you receive information that is important to you, and specific to the services that you provide or in which you are interested.

We currently send most of our e-messages through our General Topics, which covers multiple sections of MaineCare policy and program areas. Starting in February, we will be utilizing a policy and service-specific format, which will allow you to select which topics and service areas are important to you. We will also now have one topic for all current special initiatives including, but not limited to, MaineMOM, PCPlus, and Electronic Visit Verification.

With the redesign, all e-messages will now be accessible on a webpage. We will share the link to the new webpage once it’s available.

Your Action is Needed

Effective February 14, 2021, we will begin sending e-messages through the new topic lists and stop using the old ones.

Before February 14^st, please to go to our E-mail Updates subscription webpage, where you will enter your email address. You will then see a subscription list that includes other state offices. Scroll down to “MaineCare Stakeholders” and select the topics about which you would like to receive updates and information. Hover over the blue "i" icon  after the topic name to see a description of which policies and services are included in a topic.  

We encourage you to sign up for as many topics as you would like, although if you sign up for multiple topics, system limitations mean that you may receive duplicate messages on the same topic. All individuals who sign up for a topic will also be added to the General, All Services topic because we will distribute messages impacting all covered services and/or providers through that list. You will always have the option to unsubscribe from any of the topics you select. Please send this message to anyone in your organization who may also want to receive important notices from us. 

Overlap and Duplication

For a brief time, we will continue to send all e-messages on the old topic lists as well as the new ones to ensure you have time to sign up for our new topics and you don’t miss important information from us.

If you sign up for more multiple topic lists, you will receive messages more than once. We will send e-messages on each topic list that includes policies and provider types that need the information.
