MaineCare Behavioral Health Payment Supports: Timing and Frequency
As a follow up to our July 30th message regarding the timing and frequency for the special Behavioral Health (BH) per member per month payments, please note that only claims processed and paid by September 12, 2020 will be considered when determining the September payment. MaineCare will account for any claims for identified services rendered in July or August that providers do not submit by September 12th in a last October “Catch-all” payment. To be included in the catch-all payment, claims need to be paid and processed by October 17, 2020; this means that all claims should be submitted by October 6, 2020 at the latest.
