The Office of Child and Family Services (OCFS) is pleased to announce the opportunity for eligible behavioral health providers in Maine to receive training and consultation in Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during 2020-21. This opportunity is available to behavioral health clinicians who provide treatment for youth (ages 6-21) impacted by trauma. As part of its mission to ensure that Maine children are safe, stable, happy, and healthy, OCFS seeks to increase the availability of high-quality, evidence-based behavioral health treatment for children and adolescents who have experienced trauma. OCFS will offer this training and consultation series at no cost to participants.

More information regarding eligibility for the training, the application process, and program requirements, as well as the application to participate are attached to this email and are also posted on the OCFS Children's Behavioral Health Services website. Please note that applications are due June 19, 2020 as training is scheduled to begin in early July. We will be able to offer the training to up to 125 clinicians.

We are excited to offer this high-quality training program to providers in Maine. As always, we are available to answer questions and guide providers through the application process. For questions, please contact Amy Beaulieu, Policy Specialist, at amy.beaulieu@maine.gov.
