Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) Training

To prepare for the implementation of EVV requirements, providers are strongly encouraged to attend training regarding the EVV administration functions available on the Sandata portal. Providers can participate in the free training sessions online through WebEx. 

Training Topics

Training topics will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Accessing the Sandata EVV portal via the Health PAS Online Portal
  • Performing EVV administrative functions such as creating and editing information for employees who will use the system
  • Navigating through the Sandata EVV system
  • Entering and editing visit records
  • Recording visit data using other devices
  • Accessing and reviewing reports
  • Avoiding EVV visit exceptions

Training Registration and Schedule

You can register for the online courses through the Learning Management System (LMS). There is one Alternate EVV Provider Training and one EVV Provider Training each month. The following dates and times are available.

May

  • Alternate EVV Training: May 28, 2020, 9:00 am – 10:00 am     

June

  • EVV System Training: June 9, 2020, 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
  • Alternate EVV Training: June 25, 2020, 1:00 pm – 2: 00 pm

July

  • EVV System Training: July 14, 2020, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
  • Alternate EVV Training: July 30, 2020, 9:00 am – 10:00 am 

August

  • EVV System Training: August 20, 2020, 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
  • Alternate EVV Training: August 27, 2020, 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm 

September

  • EVV System Training: Sept 8, 2020, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
  • Alternate EVV Training: Sept 24, 2020, 9:00 am – 10:00 am 

October

  • EVV System Training: Oct 13, 2020, 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
  • Alternate EVV Training: Oct 29, 2020, 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm 

November

  • EVV System Training: Nov 10, 2020 9:00, am – 12:00 pm
  • Alternate EVV Training: Nov 24, 2020, 9:00 am – 10:00 am
