Forum Provider Questions
Providers that plan to attend the forums are highly encouraged to prepare questions in advance of the forums. Once the forum has started, questions can be submitted for review through the WebEx chat feature at any time. Instructions on how to submit questions will be reviewed during the beginning of the forum. If you wish to submit questions, please be sure to use your computer to access the WebEx chat.
IMPORTANT: Questions must be submitted, during the forum, in the following format. By including the information below, it will make it possible for State/DXC staff to follow up with answers to outstanding questions.
- NPI
- Contact Name
- Contact Phone Number/Email Address
- Question
Please note that the team will work to answer as many questions as possible during the call, but due to time constraints, some questions may need to be addressed outside of the forum. For questions that cannot be answered during the call, contact information and question(s) will be recorded, and a follow-up will be completed off-line.
Deadlines Reminder
Personal Care Services (PCS) and Home Health Care Services (HHCS) that require an in-home visit by a provider must begin using EVV by July 1, 2020, with the exception of Home Health providers providing services under Section 40 and Section 43, which have an implementation date of January 1, 2023. Section 40 providers may, at their discretion, choose to utilize an EVV system for HHCS at any time prior to January 1, 2023.
The pend process we announced for PCS claims with dates of service beginning on March 1, 2020 has been postponed as we continue to verify the successful integration of Alternate EVV systems with the State EVV system. This means claims with dates of service beginning on March 1, 2020 will not be subject to an EVV claim edit. Once we have completed our verification of Alternate EVV system integration, we will notify you ten business days before implementing the pend process. Therefore, you are strongly encouraged to continue your work toward implementation of the EVV requirements to meet the impending deadlines.
