Influenza Activity Still

Remains High

Seasonal influenza activity still remains high and we are continuing to recommend that all individuals 6 months and older receive a flu shot.

It is also important to remember that children 6 months through 8 years of age may need a 2nd dose of flu vaccine this season if they have not received two of more doses of trivalent or quadrivalent influenza vaccine before July 1, 2019.

You may run a report in the AFIX Product to capture the children that may be missing their 2nd dose of flu vaccine. Please feel free to call our education line at 207-287-9972 for assistance.

Update to ImmPact and Vaccine Management Phone Lines

In order to provide better customer service, the Maine Immunization Program will no longer have two separate phone lines to reach the ImmPact Help Desk or Vaccine Management.

ImmPact Help Desk staff and Vaccine Management staff are cross training and will be able to assist you for ImmPact or Vaccine Management calls.

Starting the first week of March, the only phone line to call will be the 207-287-3006 or 1-800-906-8754 phone line.
