Required Training for Electronic Visit Verification (EVV)

To prepare for the implementation of EVV requirements, we are implementing the Sandata’s EVV system. Providers are required to attend EVV training before receiving credentials to access this system or utilizing an alternative EVV system. We will offer multiple free trainings on a variety of topics related to EVV and about how to use the Sandata EVV system. The online webinar and in-person trainings will begin on December 17, 2018 and continue into 2019.

Training Format and Topics

The topics in the trainings will include, but will not be limited to:

  • How to link your Health PAS Online and Sandata portals
  • In depth EVV administration functions such as creating and editing information for employees who will use the system
  • Navigating through the Sandata EVV system
  • Entering and editing visit records
  • Recording visit data using other devices
  • Accessing and reviewing reports

Electronic Visit Verification training sessions will be provided using two presentation formats:

  • WebEx (partial-day sessions)
  • Live In-Person (full-day sessions)
