DIRECTIONS: (1/6)

From the North: Take the Maine Turnpike to Exit 47, Rand Road/Westbrook (formerly Exit 7B). Follow Route 25 east for 3 miles. At the intersection of Falmouth Street, Route 25 (Brighton Avenue), and Bedford Street, bear to the left on Brighton Avenue that soon intersects with Bedford Street. Enter the USM parking garage by taking the first right onto Surrenden Street immediately before the Alumni Skywalk. Take an elevator to the 7th floor.  The University Events Room is directly across from the elevators.

From the South: Take the Maine Turnpike (I-95) to Exit 44, South Portland/Downtown Portland (formerly Exit 6A). Follow I-295 to Exit 6B, Forest Avenue North. At the first traffic light, turn left onto Bedford Street. Enter the USM parking garage by taking the next first left onto Surrenden Street immediately after the Alumni Skywalk. Take an elevator to the 7th floor.  The University Events Room is directly across from the elevators.

From the North:  Follow US Route 1 South to Belfast.  Watch for the signs for Route 3 West, (Augusta). Take the right hand off ramp.  Turn right at end of ramp.  The Hutchinson Center is about 1.2 miles down Rt. 3 West on the left.

From the South: Follow US Route 1 North to Belfast.  Watch for the signs for Route 3 West, (Augusta). Take the right hand off ramp.  Turn left at end of ramp.  The Hutchinson Center is about 1.2 miles down Rt. 3 West on the left.

From the West:  Follow US Route 3 East to Belfast.  The Hutchinson Center will be on your right.  If you reach Route 1 (Reny’s Plaza on left), you have gone about 1 mile too far.

From the North: South on I95/Maine Turnpike take Exit 109B (formerly 31B). Follow signs at exit towards Winthrop (WEST), onto US-202 WEST/Western Ave. When coming off the exit move quickly into the left lane. At the first traffic light, turn left onto the Whitten Rd. by the Turnpike Mall. Stay on the Whitten Rd. as it curls around (runs parallel to I95). The Bank of Maine Ice Vault is .6 miles on right.

From Maine Turnpike Exit 75, Auburn: From the exit (North or South bound) turn left on to Route 4 following signs toward Auburn (and directional signs for Central Maine Community College). Go north for about 6 miles which takes you to Center Street. Continue on Center Street through town, past fast food restaurants, etc. Just under the overpass and before the Auburn Mall, turn left at the signal on to Mt. Auburn Avenue. At the next traffic light bear right on to Turner Street. Bear left to stay on Turner Street after you pass St. Mary’s health facility. The campus is about ½ mile ahead on your left.

From Maine Turnpike Exit 80, Lewiston: Go left on Alfred Plourde Parkway about .4 miles before taking the second exit onto Lisbon Street (Rt. 196 West). Go toward Lewiston on Lisbon Street 1.2 miles to the 4th light and turn right on to East Avenue. Go about 1.4 miles and turn left at the 6th light on to Russell Street. Continue on Russell Street to the overpass. Take the overpass into Auburn and continue to the first traffic light (do not exit before the end). At the traffic light bear right on to Turner Street. Bear left to stay on Turner Street after you pass St. Mary’s health facility. The campus is about ½ mile ahead on your left.

DIRECTIONS: (5/6)

From the North: Travel South on Rt. 1 into Presque Isle. Proceed straight through the first traffic signal (by the entrance to the Aroostook Centre Mall), remaining in the farthest right lane of traffic. Just prior to the next traffic signal the lane will merge right onto Rt. 163 (Connector Street). Continue on Route 163 for one mile until you see a sign (to your right) for Skyway Industrial Park, Northern Maine Regional Airport and Northern Maine Community College. Turn right at that intersection onto Central Avenue. Turn Right onto Edgemont Drive (first right on Central) until you see the sign for Northern Maine Community College.

From the South: Travel North through downtown Presque Isle. At the traffic light after Wal-Mart, turn left onto Rt. 163 (Connector Street).  There will be a Pizza Hut Restaurant to your right at the intersection). Continue on Route 163 for one mile until you see a sign (to your right) for Skyway Industrial Park, Northern Maine Regional Airport and Northern Maine Community College. Turn right at that intersection onto Central Avenue. Turn Right onto Edgemont Drive (first right on Central) until you see the sign for Northern Maine Community College.

From I-95 North: If traveling from the south on I-95, take exit 183 (Hammond Street/Airport). Turn left at the end of the exit ramp onto Hammond Street. Proceed to the first set of traffic lights (you will be facing the runway at Bangor International Airport). Turn right onto Maine Avenue. Travel approximately 7/10 of a mile. Turn right onto University Drive and onto the Bangor campus.  Follow University Dr. to the back of the campus (becomes Texas Ave.).  Eastport Hall will be on your right.  Parking is next to the building.
