Please join MaineDOT at a final public meeting to discuss the proposed Highway Reconstruction project on Route 1, in East Machias. Beginning at the Pope Memorial Bridge (#2682) over the East Machias River and extending northerly 1.8 miles.

Representatives of the Maine Department of Transportation will be present on Wednesday evening, September 26th, 2018 starting at 6:00 p.m., to listen to concerns, receive comments, and answer questions from anyone with an interest in the project.
The Department is particularly interested in learning local views relative to project consistency with local comprehensive plans, discovering local resources, and identifying local concerns and issues. Anyone with an interest is invited to attend and participate in the meeting.
