DMR’s Online Licensing System Now Accepting 2024 License Applications

Dear DMR License Holder:

This email is to notify you that DMR’s online licensing system is now accepting 2024 license applications.   Paper applications will be available on the DMR website beginning November 14th.  If you need a paper application mailed to you, will we accept requests beginning November 10th.  Please do not call before November 10th to request a paper application.

If you are purchasing any of the following license types between now and December 31, 2023, PLEASE PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE LICENSING YEAR THAT YOU ARE PURCHASING. If you are intending to purchase a 2024 license, you must select “NEXT YEAR” if you are purchasing the license BEFORE the end of 2023 and have not already purchased a 2023 license.  

  • Commercial Fishing

  • Commercial Pelagic and Anadromous

  • Noncommercial Lobster

  • Noncommercial Scallop

  • Eel

  • Mussel

  • Quahog

  • Halibut

Elver Dealer Licenses:

Elver Dealer licenses must be obtained on or before February 1, 2024, if you plan on being an elver dealer.  You may purchase this license with a facility or vehicle that you intend to use for the upcoming year.  If you do not have a facility at that time, you can put in your address, if we know that this will NOT be the facility location.  All locations must have a lease agreement, if not owned, and be inspected if the facility has never been used in the past. 

DMR does not issue refunds for licenses purchased, so please ensure that you are purchasing the license year that you intend to purchase.
