As a courtesy, the Department of Marine Resources is sending the following notice from the US Army Corps of Engineers
Cape Porpoise Federal Maintenance Dredging Haul Route Notification
Coastline Consulting & Development has been awarded the contract for maintenance dredging in Cape Porpoise harbor.
Dredging operations will commence on or about November 1, 2019 and will be completed by February 28, 2020. The Dredge and sediments will be placed at the Arundel disposal site approximately 5 nautical miles from the mouth of Cape Porpoise harbor.
Coastline Consulting & Development is required to use a specific haul route when transiting to and from the dredge material disposal site. A copy of the haul route is attached to this notice.
All fishing gear must be removed from within the specified haul route to avoid damage to or loss of fishing gear due to dredging material disposal operations.
