WHAT: The Department of Environmental Protection (Department) and Land Use Planning Commission (Commission) published notice of a public hearing on the New England Clean Energy Connect (NECEC) project in accordance with applicable State laws and rules. The hearing was held April 1-5, 2019, in Farmington, Maine, as part of a joint hearing with the Commission (the Commission's portion took place April 2, 2019). This hearing will be continued into May and will take place May 9, 2019. The hearing will be devoted to receiving evidence from the applicant and those parties granted intervenor status. Members of the public may attend, but not participate in, the May 9, 2019 hearing.
WHEN: The hearing will be held on May 9, 2019, as a joint hearing with the Department and Commission. The hearing will begin at 8:00 a.m.
WHERE: The hearing will be conducted at the Cross Insurance Arena, 515 Main Street, Bangor, Maine.
